As a young, self-taught artist in China, I painted countless landscape and nature inspired murals in my client’s homes. It was always such an honour to create work that people delighted in and welcomed into their spaces.

I am now a citizen of Canada and have called this country home for over 40 years. I raised my four daughters here and deeply appreciate all the opportunities that this beautiful country offers. I learned about famous Canadian artists like The Group of Seven and Emily Carr and remain inspired by their art.

When I first started painting in China, colour photography and printing was not so easily available, so real paintings were in demand partly for that reason.

Technology has changed all that now. But the appeal of original art done with a paint brush, the old-school way, remains appreciated just the same.  Art bridges time and cultures and it’s such a blessing to be able to share my talent with others.
